STRIP·AMP is a read-only music player for the Cardano music NFTs in your wallet. It has no user accounts, shows no ads, and contains no analytics or tracking. It never asks for your wallet's spending password or seed phrase, never signs transactions, and cannot move your funds.
The only user data the extension handles is your public Cardano wallet address. You provide it in one of two ways: by pasting an address (addr1… or stake1…), or by approving a read-only wallet connection (CIP-30) that returns only your public address. We never receive your private keys, seed phrase, or spending password.
Your public address is used solely to look up and play your music. Specifically it is sent to the public Koios Cardano API to find the music NFTs your wallet holds, and the audio and cover art those NFTs reference are loaded from public IPFS/Arweave gateways. That is the extension's only purpose.
Your address, playlists, volume and other settings are stored locally in your browser (via the browser's extension storage) on your own device. We do not operate servers that store your data, we keep no database of users, and we do not transmit your data to ourselves.
To function, the extension makes requests to the following public services. As with any web request, each receives your IP address and the specific item requested; we do not control their data practices:
STRIP·AMP is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
